The GOOD DESIGN™ 2014 award

On the 13th of December 2014, Magisso’s Naturally Cooling Ceramics Collection designed by Simon Stevens, was awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art with the prestigious GOOD DESIGN™ award. Founded in Chicago in 1950 by the architects and designers Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames and Edgar Kaufmann Jr., GOOD DESIGN™ is the world’s oldest industrial design program.

Magisso awarded with GIA at Chicago!

On the 16th of March 2014 the Magisso Naturally Cooling Ceramics designed by Simon Stevens were awarded at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago with the prestigious GIA (Global Innovation Award) for the Best Collection Design of 2014. GIA is the leading housewares industry awards program in the US. Since the inception of the GIA program in 1999, there have been more than 250 award winners, from over 30 countries.
